| Most companies do not go to the post office. A shipping truck comes to their business to collect the items. Those shipping companies are expensive by their very nature. In order for someone to go to the post office, it takes away from the time they spend doing their normal job. It also takes gas to drive to the post office. Not to mention paying for their extra personalized service that takes time. That is never free. It's just a hassle for them to do that which is why they really don't give the option for USPS.
